3D Graphics Tutorial - Tenticle Ball
Here I will teach you how to create a ball of tenticles.

First we need to create a platonic. You can either go to Objects » Primitive » Platonic or you can select Platonic from the Object Icon .

Next we need to make it editable. To do this either press C on your keyboard, go to Structure » Make Editable, or click the Make Editable icon .
Next go to Structure » Edit Surface » Matrix Extrude. You may use the default settings, or you could change the number of steps. The higher the number of stpes, the more tenticles there will be.

Now you can either render your image, or apply a HyperNURB (to apply the HyperNurb click the HyperNurb icon and then drag your platonic over the nurb until there is an arrow pointing down). I prefer to apply two (2) nurbs, this make the image very smooth, but it takes longer to render.

One (1) Nurb

Two (2) Nurbs
