Welcome To NewFreeTemplates.com Photoshop Tutorials Area - Horror Image Effect
Create a new file of 300 x 300
pixel size having 72 dpi resolution and setting the mode to RGB.
Now, if you havn't changed the background and foreground colors to
default, then do it now by pressing 'D'.
Go to
filter>Render>Clouds. You will have something like this :-
Paste your favorate image
above the first layer :-
Change this layer's blending
mode to Color Burn.
Press Control+E to merge these
two layers. Duplicate the new layer and press shift+ctrl+u to
desaurate :-
Change this layer's blending
mode to Hard light.
Again group and merge the two
layers. Now, use dodge tool 
. Set the
range to Highlights and drag the tool over the eyes and lips. Our
Horror image is ready :)
